For many years I had my Sony Ericsson k 750i, but the world is changing and I am growing. So, now i need not just phone but an assistant that will help me to manage my time more effectively. I am very sensitive consumer, I always try to avoid impulse buying and try to make wise purchases. The ones that I will not regret in the future. I have been looking for a new smart-phone in the market. I had read many reviews and phone descriptions. I have eliminated all the phone manufacturers and focused on the smartphone manufacturers, particularly on multi-touchscreen. My evaluation started with HTC, then I moved to Apple and Google and now I am waiting for Palm Pre. All these phones have great features. However, HTC and Google didn’t prove to be good phones. The reasons are Windows Mobile, Android and poor quality of the phones (design, touchscreens and other features).

From the feedback of my friends and colleagues I stopped my focus on Apple.

I like the phone but there is something that stops me from buying it. I don’t want to be Apple addicted, such as iTunes and App Store. I like when there is freedom of action and choice. So I was happy that there are ways to jailbreak the phone and enjoy freedom of action.

However, from recent CES event I learnt about Palm Pre. Honestly, I have to accept it, I love that product. So I decided to go to both iPhone and Pre.

There are rumours about new iPhone 2.1 coming in June, and I guess at that time Palm Pre will also appear in Europe. But for now I will try to use iPhone, let me see how far I could go with that. But when Pre is publicly available, I will definitely buy it.
