Here is very good example of Direct Mail and Creativity. The ad agency that feels that recession could bring a cut in advertising costs in many companies makes very good direct mail campaign that will attract the customers and explain them why marketing communications in recession is very important tool. If you press the ad you can see the brief and solution in details.

Guerrilla: MIRACLE AESTHETIC CLINIC – Faceless

I can’t stop being fascinated by the guerrilla advertising. I don’t have to say too much about this campaign for a clinic in Jakarta.  The agency who did this work is Saatchi& Saatchi Jakarta, but I am sure that small agencies can do similar work and can even outperform the others.

The brand: Miracle Aesthetic Clinic
Advert title(s): Faceless
Translation of headline to English: Can’t face the world?

Website of da week!

There were few questions and queries from the readers where I get the information from. So I decided to launch a new topic called the “website of da week”. That means I will share with you the website that I really like, read a lot, have quotes from, recommend to read and admire. I will try to share with you marcom websites. They could be known, new, or even not popular. The point is that they will have some uniqueness that will make them to stand out from the crowd.

So that was introduction, coming to the point. This weeks website is called (more…)

Guerrilla: Bubbles Hair Salon, India

Here is one more example, how small low budget company or firm could benefit from good guerrilla advertising. You don’t have to spend billions of dollars to advertise on TV, Radio and Magazines. All you need is to find and target specific segments and advertise in those segments. This is what Indian hair salon Bubbles did.

Here is one more print advert from Scottex. I liked it. It is very simple and up to the point. I don’t have credits, but I guess it is the same agency that did Mails.

Guerrilla: Scottex Paper Towels

Here some more examples of Guerrilla marketing. I guess the reason why many companies employ guerrilla marketing is because of its uniqueness and impact. Maybe the other reason could be the costs. Advertising and the corporate world have some problems in this economy, I guess this will be a reason for the guerrilla marketing boost.

Prints: NOAH Menschen für Tiere e.V

Do you love perfumes? Do you like to smell good? I guess everyone likes it. But do you know how your fragrance is produced? Did it have an animal testing? Animals are vital part of the nature. We should treat them well. Here is the prints of the NOAH a charity organisation that protects animals, particularly animal testing in industries. It is about charity. It asks to donate some money to the charity. But after the seeing ad, I had a feeling not to use perfumes or at least ask for the one that doesn’t do it. But I didn’t want to make donation. For me it seems that ad is not effective. What you think?  Look at the ads and give your feedback after the break… (more…)
